OLHNA VIPs have been hard at work patrolling our neighborhood. Congratulations to Jonathan Venechanos (OLHNA Security Director) and all the hardworking Old Lake Highlands Neighborhood Association Volunteers in Patrol. Jonathan and the VIPs have logged in 500 hours of volunteer patrols in OLH. VIPs do make a difference and statistics have proven that neighborhoods with active VIPs are safer neighborhoods. Are you interested in training to be a VIP? if so, please contact Jonathan at email@example.com

About Old Lake Highlands
Welcome to the official site for the Old Lake Highlands Neighborhood Association (OLHNA)! Old Lake Highlands Neighborhood, is comprised of approximately 1,700 homes located within the triangle of Northwest Hwy., Buckner Blvd., and Lake Highlands Drive, served by DISD, and in Dallas Council District 9.
This neighborhood was officially established in 1946, but, the Old Lake Highlands neighborhood, as we know it today, was formed in the 1990's when residents decided they needed a better sense of community in East Dallas. Neighborhoods formerly known as, Lake Terrace, Bel Aire Estates, Lake Highlands Pointe, and Park Highlands were combined to form Old Lake Highlands. The homes that are south of NW Hwy, and north of Northcliff, were formerly referred to as Lake Highlands Estates. These homes became part of OLH in 2006.
Located 10 miles northeast of downtown, but surrounded almost entirely by greenbelt and atop some of the highest elevation in Dallas, this neighborhood is one of a kind. Close accessibility to downtown, but moments away from the active part of life. We are proud to be part of the White Rock Lake community. Meet your neighbors, and support your neighborhood, join today!
