Volunteers in Patrol
Old Lake Highlands utilizes Volunteers in Patrol, or VIP, for our Crime Watch program. VIP is a non-confrontational neighborhood citizen patrol program composed of neighbors who wish to volunteer their time and desire to interact with and serve their community. This program aims to provide a visible presence in the neighborhood to deter criminal activity.
The Dallas Police Department trains participants to recognize suspicious or illegal activity. As a VIP, you will patrol in pairs in your own vehicles and call 911 if action is warranted. Click here for upcoming VIP training dates.
