OLH, an East Dallas gem.

Voted one of the top ten best neighborhoods in North Texas, Old Lake Highlands boasts a lush greenbelt perimeter and is atop some of the highest elevations in Dallas. The community comprises approximately 1,700 homes, some of which have impressive views of downtown Dallas and White Rock Lake. Residents are within walking distance of bike and jogging paths and Norbuck and Bel Aire Parks. Approximately 10 miles from downtown Dallas, 5 miles from Northpark Mall, and a short distance from the Lakewood and Lower Greenville areas, residents of Old Lake Highlands enjoy a quiet but active lifestyle with nearby shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.

Old Lake Highlands is located in Dallas County, Council District 9. We are bounded by Northwest Highway on the North, Lake Highlands Drive on the East, and Buckner Boulevard on the Southwest. Norbuck Park sits West of Van Dyke.

The neighborhood is divided into five zones, each with an Area Representative and several Block Captains. We are served by the Dallas Police Department Northeast Division, and most young residents attend the award-winning Hexter Elementary School, located in the heart of our neighborhood.
