First Annual OLH Turkey Trot
Join your Old Lake Highlands neighbors for our very first Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning! Lace up your sneakers, grab your family and friends, bring your pup, and kick off Turkey Day the right way – with a 5K loop through our beautiful neighborhood.
Runners, walkers, stroller-pushers, and coffee-lovers alike – everyone's invited! Come as you are and enjoy a lap around the neighborhood. We'll have water at the finish line, medals for the kiddos, and the best post-race fuel around – fresh coffee at Middle Ground!

Pumpkins with Pizzazz
Lakewood Library welcomes back Master Gardener Roseann Ferguson! Learn how to create a beautiful fall centerpiece for yourself or to give as a hostess gift. Succulent-decorated pumpkins are easy to create and will last for months. You will learn step-by-step methods for making these succulent pumpkins.

White Rock Lake Artists’ Studio Tour
Celebrating 32 Years of Artistic Discovery!
Join us for the 2025 White Rock Lake Artists’ Studio Tour, an exciting, self-guided adventure through 31 vibrant art studios and 4 art centers near the scenic White Rock Lake in East Dallas. This area, known for its natural beauty, lush forests, and historic lake, is home to a thriving artist community.
