Halloween 2021 in OLH

OLH residents were ready for Halloween this year, and it showed. All month long, OLH neighbors displayed their Halloween spirit. Pumpkins graced people’s lawns and doorsteps. Skeletons, giant spiders, and an inflatable Beetlejuice were just a few of the decorations displayed in front yards. Hexter Elementary prepared for Hexter Howl.

On Halloween, the festivities started early. Throughout the neighborhood, people gathered on their lawns and in their driveways with friends and neighbors. It was not just a day for children to dress in costumes, but adults also joined in on the fun. As evening drew near, groups of trick-or-treaters (Spiderman, Dracula, and princesses, to name a few) paraded down the sidewalks in the hopes of getting candy and other goodies.

This year, Halloween was a day that brought neighbors together to interact with one another and welcome each other to their doors. But that is every day in Old Lake Highlands.

Thanks to the many neighbors who shared their photos. If you would like to add to our gallery, send us a message at blog@oldlakehighlands.com.
